Which grade does my child compete in?

Students compete in the grade in which they qualified.

If your child wrote the contest in Grade 4 and has since moved into Grade 5, they still write the Grade 4 paper at the Global Round — the invitation email names the exact grade program to register under. Register under that program even if your child's school grade has changed.

If the grade in your invitation looks wrong, reply to the invitation email before registering rather than guessing — the grade determines which paper your child writes.
