What does the Global Round day look like?

The Global Round is a full day (in 2026: Thursday, August 13, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM at the University of Toronto Chestnut Conference Centre, 89 Chestnut St, Toronto).

• The individual contest is the most important part of the day — each student writes their own grade-level paper.
• The team round groups students of similar age, matched by language, so every child can collaborate comfortably.
• Meals are provided all day for both students and registered parents.
• The day closes with the awards ceremony.

To prepare, use the Practice Centre — it has resources and past papers for every grade.
